They dash to the other side of the car park and pile into a white convertible sports car with the top already down. It’s a bit of a squeeze. The sky blue girl still has hold of Lucas by the hand and while the doll in golden brown opens the big wide door, she pushes Lucas into the middle of the grey leather back seat and jumps in next to him. At the same time the violet girl slides in next to Lucas from the other side. The scarlet red girl then wastes no time in taking the wheel, while the pink girl makes herself comfortable in the passenger seat. Finally the black haired, golden brown girl climbs over the back of the car and sits on the back shelf, with her gold boots and smooth, pale legs dangling between Lucas and the violet girl.
“Are we ready?” says the scarlet girl, as she starts up the engine. Amidst a chorus of “Leeeeet’s gooooo” from the other girls they drive off, glide out of the car park and start cruising. The car’s engine makes that kind of deep purring sound that only a high performance sports car can make. It resonates through Lucas’ chest, while at the same time his heart is racing. He doesn’t know if he wants to hide or if he wants to be seen.
“Don’t worry Looo-ca,” says the pink clothed, tanned girl from the front seat.
Lucas although he can barely speak, as his mouth has dried up almost completely, manages to reply, “where are we going?”
The violet girl, who Lucas now notices has lips coated in a lipstick of deepest purple, gently presses her hand onto Lucas’ knee and says, “I zink it iz time we introdooouced ourselves Lucaaaaaaas.”
“My name is Epione,” she continued, “I will take care of you. If you need a leetle relaxing, yoo let me know, alright?”
Lucas turned and almost fell headlong into her deep brown eyes.
“My name is Tyche,” said the girl on Lucas’ other side, “I am here to ensure you believe in yourself Lou-cas. The future is whatever you want.”
“And I am called Eleos,” called the golden girl from behind him, “Lucassss, I will care for you, I worry for you. Consider this, a little vacation.”
“Hi, I’m Kakia,” said the scarlet girl behind the wheel with a happy wave of her hand, “you say it like this, Kay-key-yaaa.” A hypnotic depth in her voice already taking control of Lucas’ mind. “My job is quite simple, I will make you feel so goooood you will never forget.”
“And I am Hebe,” said the youngest looking of the five, a vision of beauty with soft, sun touched skin, bright eyes and hair cascading across her shoulders as she turned her head towards him from the passenger seat. “I am here for everyone, I will bring vitality and colour to you and all of us.”
“Forget all you have, and come with us Lucas,” said Epione from his side, “fall in love with all you have ever wanted.”
Strangely, Lucas did feel in love. Like he had never felt before, a warm breeze of love was blowing over him. It was an overwhelming and beautiful experience, as if he was being connected to the person inside that he always wanted to be. He didn’t need to speak, it was as if the five goddesses understood already. And in one moment of extreme beauty, the five of them all turned their heads to him simultaneously.
